What's Your Story? app for iPhone and iPad

What’s Your Story is designed to enhance your experience of visiting the museums and art galleries. Using the app, you’ll be able to access more information about selected items, and to record your own story about any of the objects. We think that this app will increase your feelings of wellbeing while you visit the museum, so we ask you to rate your experience of listening to and/or recording a story.

What do I do with WYS?
Download the WYS app to your phone, then go and visit a museum or gallery which supports the app. When you see a QR code in the museum, scan it with the app, and you’ll see an information screen about the objects. You can listen to a story recorded by the museum staff or the public, you can record your own story, or you can do both!

What data will I be sharing?
Once you’ve recorded your story, you can play it back, then you decide whether to upload it to the collection or not. We hope you will! You’ll also be asked to rate your experience. We won’t be able to link this to any personal data about you via your phone.

Be ddylwn i wneud gyda WYS?
Llwythwch yr ap WYS i’ch ffôn, yna ewch i Amgueddfa ac Orielau Celf sydd yn cefnogir ap. Pan welwch chi god QR yn yr amgueddfa, defnyddiwch ap eich ffôn i’w sganio, ac fe welwch chi sgrin wybodaeth ynglŷn â’r gwrthrychau. Gallwch wrando ar stori wedi’i recordio gan staff yr amgueddfa neu’r cyhoedd, recordio’ch stori eich hun, neu roi cynnig ar y ddau!

Pa ddata fydda i’n ei rannu?
Ar ôl recordio’ch stori, gallwch wrando arni, yna penderfynwch a ydych am ei llwytho i fyny i’r casgliad ai peidio. Rhowch gynnig arni! Gofynnir i chi hefyd grynhoi’ch profiad. Fyddwn ni ddim yn gallu cysylltu hyn i unrhyw ddata personol amdanoch drwy eich ffôn.
